Alpine ski racer Lindsey Vonn is announcing big news and going full throttle with her designer vibes. The former athlete and ex to golfing pro Tiger Woods has officially released her Rise: My Story memoir, and there was a major post on her Instagram this month to make sure fans are aware.

Vonn, 37, has penned an "unfiltered" account of her life as a female athlete, but her IG post was also shouting out celebrity-adored Italian label Gucci as she went figure-hugging in a classy look.

Looking dead at the lens with a piercing gaze, the blonde showed off her cover while in a luxurious, wood-beamed living room, also backed by an indoor plant. Fans saw her in a chic and fitted green Gucci blazer, one covered in the brand's monogram and offsetting a black top.

Plenty of congratulations came in, including a comment from @sharkogram, SVP director of creative development at publishing house, Harper Collins. The note told Vonn:

"What an amazing adventure it has been working with you on this book not to mention your previous book. I can’t wait to interview you tonight at the live virtual event. The book is stunning. The book is deep. The book is thoughtful. The book is revelatory. The book is quite a wild snowy ride. I am so proud of you." More below.

Sneak Peek

Vonn had announced her memoir back in 2019. The 2018 Winter Olympics face had told The Associated Press:

“I think I have plenty to talk about with my injuries, obviously, my entire career and my personal life, my family,” adding: "There’s a lot that’s happened in my life, and I feel like I want to share that and empower other women to be independent and strong and believe in themselves.”

Vonn is followed by 2.1 million on Instagram. Check out her account for more.
