The moment all football fans were waiting for is finally here.

The College Football playoff pool is set and the committee has spoken, with Alabama, Michigan, Georgia, and Cincinnati set to take the field in their pursuit of a National Championship.

Everything can happen at this point and even though it seems to be a big difference in level between the four teams that made the pool, nothing is set in stone.

That's why today, we're going to make a case for each team. Read more below.

The Bearcats Are Undefeated For A Reason

Everybody seems to be sleeping on the Cincinnati Bearcats for the easy schedule they had. But hey, not every team can win 13 in a row.

Even so, they're the only undefeated team in the playoff pool and have a history of not backing down against top-notch programs, as it happened with Georgia in last year's Peach Bowl.

The Bearcats' solid defense could help them contain an Alabama team that will be without John Metchie, but their offense continues to be a bit of a concern.

The Bulldogs Are Still The Bulldogs

The Georgia Bulldogs were the best team in all of College Football this season and it wasn't even close.

The Bulldogs' rushing attack and top-notch defense helped them control the pace of the game and shut down their rivals week in and week out.

However, QB Stetson Bennett IV looks far from a difference-maker at this point and there's some chatter about a potential change for the playoffs.

Also, they most definitely avoid a hangover and put the SEC Championship Game in the past after being completely dominated by Nick Saban's Crimson Tide.

Michigan's Elite Defense

It took longer than expected but it seems like Jim Harbaugh has finally made his mark with the Michigan Wolverines.

They boast one of the best defensive units in the nation, led by potential top-3 pick Aidan Hutchinson.

The Wolverines made a statement against their lifelong rival Ohio State and kept their feet on the gas by completely dominating Iowa.

They're scrappy, tough, physical, and Cade McNamara is as efficient as they come. They may not be as offensively talented as other teams but they can definitely get things done.

Nick Saban Is The GOAT

And last but not least, let's not forget about this man.

Nick Saban has a strong case for being the greatest coach in College Football history and he proved it again on Saturday.

Even on a down year for the Crimson Tide, Saban managed to take down the best team in the nation.

He's led the team to 7 National titles and Alabama is far from the team you want to peak come playoff time. Until further notice, they will always be the team to beat.
