Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark's romance is still going strong several months after filming “The Bachelorette.” In a new interview with Marie Claire, she opened up about how things are going and what she sees on the horizon for the duo.

When “The Bachelorette” was filmed last summer, Tayshia was based in California while Zac was in New York. Initially, they said they'd be bi-coastal. Now, however, she's calling NYC her home. However, she explained that she's held onto her California place.

They're Taking Things Slowly

She details that this decision shouldn't be taken as a sign of trouble though. Tayshia explains that she's done this to maintain some peace of mind.

When Tayshia's first marriage ended, she moved back in with her parents. After that experience, she feels that keeping her home at this point is a wise, adult move.

Zac and Tayshia are happily engaged, but they likely won't rush into wedding planning. She recently told ET Online that they're doing well, but taking things slowly.

There's No Wedding Timeline

“At first, Zac was the person to be like, 'We could get married next week.' And I was like, 'Slow your roll.' I'd love to date a year. And now I'm like, 'You want to … maybe next month?' And he's like, 'Tayshia, slow your roll.' We're back and forth. But there's no timeline. It's definitely going to happen. I just don't know when,” Tayshia explained to Marie Claire.

Tayshia said she sees Zac as everything she needed. It seems she's what Zac needed too.

They Complement One Another Well

Tayshia admits she's rather obsessed with Zac, although she hesitates to phrase it that way as it seems cliché.

“The Bachelorette” star also said that the two complement one another very well. She's relearning how to trust and he's learning about maintaining a transracial relationship.

“At the foundation of our relationship is honesty and being able to have those tough conversations,” Zac noted.

Tayshia admitted that she tends to feel a lot of pressure from “The Bachelorette” fans when it comes to her engagement.

She often hears fans begging her not to break up with her fiance. Luckily, it doesn't sound as if there's any likelihood that could happen in the near future.

At the moment, there are a lot of unknowns when it comes to the next season of "The Bachelorette." Production apparently hasn't settled on a lead yet, and Chris Harrison may not be hosting.

Luckily, it seems that Tayshia and Zac are steady and happy though, and fans are rooting to see that continue.
