Former President Donald Trump is widely seen as by far the most popular conservative figure in the nation, and he has made it clear that he intends to run for the White House once again in 2024.
But according to a new poll, Trump is not nearly as popular as he once used to be. In fact, the survey suggests that Republican voters are ready for a fresh face.

In the latest NBC News/Hart Research Associates/Public Opinion Strategies poll, 43 percent of respondents who plan to vote in the upcoming Republican Party primaries said they would prefer the GOP moved on from Trump.
As reported by Newsweek, 33 percent of GOP primary voters in the poll said they think Trump was a good president, but believe it is time to move on and embrace new leaders.
An additional 10 percent of GOP primary voters said Trump was not a good commander-in-chief, and opined that it is time for new leaders.
Trump has long clashed with Republican Party leaders, including Mitch McConnell, the top conservative in the Senate.
But when asked to choose between Trump and the GOP, conservative voters side with their party.
In the poll, 58 percent of respondents described themselves as supporters of the Republican Party first and Trump second -- just 34 percent said they were more supportive of the former president than their party.
These findings seemingly contradict other recent polls, some of which found that a strong majority of Republicans want Trump to run again in 2024.
With Trump clearly interested in launching another presidential bid, pollsters are also looking at how he would fare against President Joe Biden, whose popularity has declined substantially in recent months.
As Newsweek noted, the RealClearPolitics average of polling data suggests that Trump would beat Biden if the election was held today, albeit by a small margin.
For the time being, however, Trump appears focused on backing MAGA candidates in the upcoming midterm elections.
According to a new report from Axios, Trump will soon embark on a motivational speaking tour around the country.
The tour is seen as an opportunity for the real estate mogul to once again cash-in on his presidency, but also as a chance to test the waters as he gears up for another presidential run.
Per Axios, the tour is "driving huge audience interest," with ticket prices starting at $9.
However, presidential tier tickets cost as much as $4,995 and patriot tier tickets are even more expensive.
